Local roses are not stored in a shop for days waiting to be ordered. We only source and purchase them from the local farm after you order them. From the farm gate to our delivery in a vase, is within 24 hours.
Jabula Roses is a family owned business run by Spud and Jane Murphy using sustainable farming practices. They have developed the farm over many years to produce some of the most sought after roses in the Sunshine Coast Regione and are progressively introducing more sustainable and environmentally friendly farming practices. They are committed to using fewer chemicals and this means using beneficial bugs, microbes and sustainable fertilisers to control diseases and insects rather than pesticides and fungicides. They have had enormous success and their use of chemicals has dropped by 70%. Jabula Roses have improved in quality and our beneficial bugs are in abundance. This makes their farm and their products better for customers, better for the farm workers and better for the environment. Their long-term goal is to try and phase out chemicals altogether.

We tested Local Sunshine Coast Roses to have 6 days longevity before looking past their best.
LOCAL ROSES are cut and collected from the local farm on the day of delivery.
Australian Grandiflora, Colombian and African imported flowers, are sourced from our national and international suppliers as soon as available, and delivered the following day. All flowers are secured only after your order is paid for.
AS SUCH, we do not have to pre-purchase flowers and store them in costly refrigeration until an order is received and delivered, just to service same day delivery. We do not provide Same Day Delivery orders (as do FAKE FLORISTS), which provide pot luck as to freshness because the supplier florist is delivering stock that could be over a week old.
THE RESULT, is that there is no stale & wasted stock, and only the freshest flowers are supplied and personally delivered in a vase, with cost savings that can be seen in our displayed prices.
SO, the roses are as fresh as it gets at the best prices, and you always know how many stems you are getting, which always arrive in water as delivery is in a vase (wet delivery).

As we require payment before we can make an order from the gerbera farm we require payment upfront, with all the Customer Benefits that PayPal provide.
PAYPAL INVOICE
We receive your pre-order with no payment details at this stage. When we source the availability of your order from the local farm, we will email you a PayPal Invoice with an anticipated delivery date. You will need to pay the invoice ASAP to enable us to secure your order, and of course you will receive all the Consumer Benefits that PayPal provide.
AFTERPAY
Customers select Afterpay at checkout and fill out a short form to get an instant approval decision. Afterpay split the cost of the order into 4 equal instalments, every 2 weeks. Afterpay is always zero interest, and there are never additional fees when shoppers pay on time.

Renoun for extra large blooms and strong stems, however the blooms do not normally open like other roses. There are thousands of different varieties and sizes of roses available commercially today, all trace their heritage back to the wild roses, and not everyone selling roses is selling the same variety or size. Some varieties have been around for a while, and some are newer hybrid varieties bred for improved vase life, larger head size, colour, etc, some are even thornless. Most commercially grown roses available to florists today, are limited in fragrance because vase life is prized and plants are hybridized with this in mind. Commercial roses for cut flower use are not suitable as garden roses and unlike garden roses, cut rose varieties require controlled environmental conditions to grow successfully. Another major difference in roses is the length of the stem (drastically affecting price) together with the thickness of the stem, generally a longer stem rose has a thicker stem and larger head. Many roses labeled "long stem" are actually a 30 to 40cm stem, which real florists refer to as a short stem. Most florists use a 50 to 70cm stem in a bouquet arrangement, which are traditionally what florists call long stem. Longer stems give vase arranged roses a more elegant look and thicker stems are usually more robust than the skinny stems of smaller roses.
